In Game Description:
Long ago, the now massive Lake Tycho formed when rainwater collected in a crater left behind by a meteorite impact. It is famous for the beauty of its mirror-like surface, reflecting the sky above in perfect clarity. A poet who once visited this lake coined it "The Lake of Stars"; thus today, it lives in the imaginations of people even beyond the borders of the South Country.
This is the place where Rutile and Mitile's parents met, and subsequently fell in love.

Location Gimmick:

----------------------------------
Gimmick Explanation:
Thankfully, this one is a bit simpler than in Rheita Mountains. The object of course, is to go fishing, and catch as many fish as you can. To do so you'll need to make use of the special location menu as seen below.

Parameter giving fish: In the middle is, obviously, the fish that you are aiming to catch. The basic fish, which are red give points to parameters after they are caught. Gold fish are special fish which not only give 1.5x the points, but also 1 random trait silver (SR rarity) or above to your training partner-one you don't have already.
# of turns: This is the number of turns that have passed since your fish has appeared. If this reaches 10, the fish will disappear and you will not gain anything at all!!
Components: This is where you find all the parameter categories the fish has landed on. The colors indicate which ones you will receive when you successfully catch the fish.
Size: This increases the more turns the fish is moving around. It goes from small 小, medium 中、and large 大. The bigger the fish is, the more the success rate goes up, and the more points it gives to the stats it picks up.
Success Rate: Self-explanatory. The higher it is, the more likely you will succeed. Increasing chances is covered below.
Baby Shrimp: a location exclusive item that can be used to help successfully catch fish. This is covered in more detail below.
And of course, hit the Fish! button when you are ready to catch it!
As for how you go about that? Well, you get the fish to move around as much as you need it, to grow in size and parameters.
Movement Rules are as follows:
- You can semi-direct the fish by picking a button next to it. It will go in the opposite direction.
- If you rest, the fish will move 2 spaces in a random direction.
- Selecting the button the fish is on causes it to freeze in place, and it will not move or collect parameters until the end of your next turn.
- If you fail to catch it, it will not move at all.
- All other cases it will randomly move 1 spot.
Increasing Chances: If you are having trouble catching what you want, there are a couple ways to increase your rate of success.
Baby shrimp: This item shown above in the fishing menu will allow you to increase your chances to 100% for that turn only. You get these by catching any fish within the first 4 turns it appears.
The other way is waiting until the fish icon appears on the gimmick/fishing button. In doing so, the fish will gain a large bonus to the success rate. This seems to be random, though it does tend to happen more with golden fish.
And that's it! Use the menu to keep track of your progress and catch as many as you can! For every 4 normal fish you catch, a golden one appears. Because of this, and the shrimp, it is advantageous early on to try and catch a few before they can give you anything to build up for better rewards later.
Your fish and shrimp carry over through parts, so just keep trying to catch them until the end!
Important!
- You cannot use a shrimp to catch the next fish before 4 turns and gain another shrimp that way. (I tested, and the game confirmed)
- You can check the special location screen at any time without losing a turn; only trying to catch the fish will cost a turn and stamina.
- After either catching a fish or having it run away, another will appear in 2 turns.
- Did you know that catfish really can get up to like 200 pounds and big as a full grown person? Nature is scary.
